Why choose indoor saunas?
Square indoor saunas are a practical choice because of following reasons:
- The interior bath requires a very little space - the optimal size of the sauna (steam room) is 4-4.5 sq. m area or 8-10 cu. m of volume, but you can also fit into 2 sq. m.
- There are no special requirements for the rooms where the sauna cabin will be built.
- An inexpensive solution for those who want to have a sauna.
- Can be made from various wood-based baths (asparagus, lime, black alder).
- Quickly heatable.
Price of indoor saunas
The price of an indoor sauna depends on its model - the standard models we manufacture are cheaper, but in most cases it is necessary to design an interior sauna in accordance with the specifics of the premises, therefore the price of such bathhouses is higher. As a rule, as many segmented blocks (panels), waterproofing and insulating materials are used, the cost of the bathhouse is higher. It, of course, depends on the wood used. Typically, birch wood is used, but shingles and black alder can also be used. The cost of the bath is determined by the type of electric oven.
Installation of indoor saunas
If you want to have a sauna, first decide whether you want to install a stationary sauna in a separate room or buy one of the sauna cabins. The one-size-fits-all infra-red sauna room will occupy the lowest housing space. A steam bath, a sauna or both mounted in one cabin will also take up a small amount of space.
If you choose steam sauna or sauna with a steamer, you will have to install water filters.
All electric ovens are suitable for wet and dry saunas. If you want more steam and lower temperatures, an open oven will not heat up both stones and air at the same time. In this case, it is better to close the oven with a lid, which saves heat in the stones.
It is recommended to install the sauna floor with ceramic tiles and to place wooden rafters on top. The back wall should be covered with the wood, which becomes less heated - any wood will do here.
Indoor (assembled) sauna maintenance
As with any item or building, the sauna should be looked after. Dirt, mold and bacteria accumulate in the carelessly maintained sauna, therefore you risk your own health. Also, would you like to call your guests to an unclean bath?
Every time you take a bath, do not forget to clean it. First, rinse off with water and wipe the beds and benches with a cloth. Drench the cloth with water, diluted with some soda or soap. You can also use special cleaners for the sauna, avoid using strong, corrosive cleaning materials. In all cases, use a synthetic or chemical cleaner, don't forget to read the product's instructions.
Before going to the sauna, wash yourself in the shower or rinse the body with water. It is recommended to place a tower underneath yourself to absorb excess sweat.
After using the sauna, properly ventilate it - leave the doors open of the inner sauna, because moisture and heat make ideal conditions for molding, and the wooden parts of the sauna (benches, beddings) start to turn blacken.
